I am obsessed with pop culture - TV, Movies, Books, Music and of course all of the celebrity gossip that goes along with it. I enjoy being the go to person for what's on TV on a particular night, what movies to see, and what books to read. Not that I'm a know it all - but I pretend to be.

Lost: 5 of the Oceanic 6 Revealed (well... maybe)

Lost... by far one of my favorite TV obsessions. Not a lot of people that run in my circles are in to it, but they should be. I realize it's a daunting task, but just rent the DVDs or head to ABC.com to view all of the episodes. Trust me... you'll be hooked.

Tonight was the 4th episode of the season and we learned the 5th person to be rescued off the island... Aaron! Didn't see that one coming before tonight. So, out of the Oceanic 6, we know 5: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid & Aaron. That is... if Aaron is actually considered one of the 6.

We also found out that the O6 lied to the public - telling them only 8 survived the initial crash. Just more open-ended questions, but part of the fun is yelling WTF!?!?! at the TV every Thursday night.

By the way... if you are in to Lost, by far the best website I've found is lostpedia.com. Okay... now I really sound like a huge nerd.

I had the same thoughts as you about the whole lie. And thank you for telling me the name...for the life of my I couldn't hear what she called him, so I was super confused. Looking forward to next week!

The Oceanic 6 are all ticketed passengers, therefore Aaron (like Ben) is not one of the Oceanic 6.

Best line of the night was Hurley's comment about being "Scooby-Doo'd" by Kate.

Come to think of it the real mystery shaping up isn't who the Oceanic 6 are, but the lies that are told on their escape from the island...

For instance, Jack mentions that only 8 survived the crash. So who then are the other two and why did they not return?

For sure the best line of the night was Hurley's comment! I laughed hysterically after that, and almost wrote about it in my entry.

Good point about the Oceanic 6 and Aaron not being on the plane in the first place - I never even thought Aaron wouldn't be considered one of the Oceanic 6 until I was reading lostpedia. The only thing that tripped me up was in the preview for last night's episode they made it seem like another one of the six would be revealed. Guess not.
